By creating a CareRooster account you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
A scheduling tool. Agencies put their rota in, post shifts they need covering, and pick who takes them. Caregivers see their week and put their hand up for work.
We are not an employer, an employment agency, or a party to any arrangement between an agency and a caregiver. Pay, hours, contracts, insurance, background checks and training are between you and the agency you work for. We do not verify anybody's qualifications, and a caregiver appearing in the app is not a statement by us that they are qualified or safe to send to a client.
Agencies remain responsible for their own compliance — licensing, background checks, training hours, supervision, and record keeping. What the app records is a convenience, not a legal register.
You must be 18 or over and give accurate details. An agency account may only be created by somebody authorised to act for that agency.
CareRooster has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You may not post or send anything that is abusive, harassing, threatening, hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, violent, false or misleading. You may not bully or intimidate anybody, impersonate somebody, share another person's details without their permission, ask for money or run a scam, use the app to advertise anything other than care work, or attempt to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service.
Every message, job and person in the app can be reported, and any agency or caregiver can be blocked, from right where you see them; your blocked list is under Privacy and safety. We look at every report within 24 hours. When something breaks these rules we remove it, and we suspend or close the account that posted it, without warning where the content was serious.
What you write stays yours. You give us permission to store it and show it to the people it is meant for — an agency you applied to, or a caregiver you are messaging.
The app is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be available without interruption or that everything in it is accurate. Notifications depend on your device and network and can be delayed or lost, so do not rely on the app alone for anything urgent.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost work, lost pay, missed shifts, or any indirect loss arising from using the app.
You can delete your account at any time in the app. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
LAW
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
