Your own list is finite. CareRooster lets you reach the caregivers who are not on it yet — and takes the morning you dread off your hands.
Post an open shift once. Your own caregivers hear first. Then it reaches caregivers near you who are not on your list — working for other agencies in your area, with hours to spare and a drive they would accept. You see who puts their hand up, and you choose.
Caregivers find you as well: they search for agencies nearby and ask to join, arriving with their availability and the hours they want already filled in.
Open the app and the day is already counted: how many shifts today, how many are confirmed, who has not confirmed, who called off, and what is waiting on you to approve.
When somebody cannot make it, CareRooster ranks who could take it — who is genuinely free at that time, how many minutes away they are, and who it would push into overtime. Ask the best match, ask the ones you pick, or ask everybody who could take it. One tap each.
Shifts that look shaky are flagged ahead of time rather than discovered on the morning: not confirmed yet, double-booked, a drive that does not fit the gap between two jobs, somebody over their hours for the week, or a caregiver who has called off repeatedly.
Photograph a paper rota, upload a screenshot, or paste rows from a spreadsheet. Publish the week and every caregiver is told their own shifts; anything that clashes with work they already have comes back for you to fix. Weekly coverage shows how many client hours are actually covered.
Add caregivers by phone number and they are invited by text. Message the whole team at once. Reports show the hours CareRooster filled, how quickly shifts got covered, and what your caregivers said about them.
CareRooster is a scheduling tool, not an employer or an employment agency. It does not verify qualifications or run background checks — those stay with you, where they belong. It holds no client medical information: a shift carries a client reference, never a patient record.
And it keeps caregivers’ other work private. You see your own shifts and nothing else. That is why caregivers are willing to be in a shared pool at all — and therefore why there is a pool for you to draw on.
